This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 1 class (Wed 6pm) in Fall Session 2 or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of Italian and does not need an introductory course.

  • Course topics this session: city vocabulary (identifying places in a city, asking for and giving directions, prepositions, present tense of "ere/ire" verbs and continued practice of basic grammar concepts.

  • Course topics this session: Finishing Chapter 4B in Realidades 1 (talking about activities, extending, accepting, and declining invitations, present tense of jugar, using the ir + a + infinitive construction) and starting Chapter 5A (describing families, the verb tener, and possessive adjectives) in addition to other digital/multimedia materials provided by the instructor.
