  This is an introductory course designed for people who have no prior knowledge of Italian.

• Course topics this session: pronunciation, greeting, days, dates, numbers, expressing personal information and an introduction to basic grammar concepts.
• This course does not require a textbook.

This course is designed for students who were enrolled in the Beginner 2 class (Tuesdays  7pm with Daniela) in Spring Session 1 or anyone who has some previous knowledge of basic Italian (i.e. present tense of are-ere-ire verbs).

• Course topics this session: people and family vocabulary, descriptive adjectives, possessive adjectives and idiomatic expressions with "avere"
• This course does not require a textbook.

• Course topics this session: Starting Chapters 11 of Ciao!- 7th edition (vacation vocabulary, the future tense, stressed pronouns)
• This course uses the textbook Ciao! - 7th edition. Purchasing a hard copy of the textbook is not required; however, purchasing options will be provided upon request.

This course is designed for students who were enrolled in the Intermediate 3 course (Wed. 5:00 with Matt) in Spring Session  1 (the class title remains the same) or anyone who has knowledge of grammar concepts presented through Chapter 16 of the textbook Ciao! - 6th edition.  Click here to view a listing of grammar concepts by chapter.

• Course topics this session: Finishing Chapter 18 of Ciao - 6th edition (conjunctions with the subjunctive, the imperfect and pluperfect subjunctive) and starting Chapter 1 in Ponti -3rd edition  (regular and irregular comparatives and superlatives, the progressive) in addition to other digital/multimedia materials provided by the instructor.
•  This course uses the textbook Ponti – 3rd edition.  Purchasing a hard copy of the textbook is not required; however, purchasing options will be provided upon request.
